Christmas Moonshine

My dear niece Amber Pennington made some Bailey’s Irish Cream and gave some to our daughter Stephanie Pennington and Scott and I this Christmas.  It was yummy!  I have saved the empty bottle as a souvenir, it was quite lovely – like an old milk quart with the metal mechanism that snapped down the plug on the bottle …

My layout is based on this week’s Sketchy Thursday sketch:

Here is my interpretation, featuring our daughter Stephanie and using Me and my Big Ideas rub-ons and Petaloo floral embellishments “Velvet Hydrangeas” and Sassafrass papers along with some kraft paper from my stash and glimmer mist:

What you can’t see so well in the photo  is that the baker’s twine I used in my layout is the same as the twine my niece used to wrap around the bottle with her Christmas tag …  so glad those Sketchy girls provided this sketch that inspired me to mimic the twine around the bottle …
